Lisa Lewis

Lisa M. Lewis, 53, of Wahpeton, ND, died Monday, December 31, 2018.

She was born November 30, 1965 in Edina, MN to Arlan and Janice (Porter) Tolifson.  She moved with her family to several different locations in the United States.  She graduated from high school in Rapid City, SD.  Lisa was a champion baton twirler during her high school years.  She was united in marriage to Jay Lewis in Rapid City in August of 1985.  To this union, two children were born, Cory and Samantha.

Lisa enjoyed fishing, football, UFC, NASCAR racing, Harley-Davidsons and her dogs.  Most of all, she enjoyed the time spent with her granddaughter, Ella Mae.

Lisa is survived by her children, Cory Lewis of Denver, CO and Samantha Lewis of Wahpeton, ND; her granddaughter, Ella Mae Lewis; her father, Arlan (Vicki) Tolifson of South Texas; her brothers: Todd (Teresa) Tolifson of Browerville, MN, Shane (Vicki) Spencer of Everly, IA and Jay Tolifson of Breckenridge, MN; several aunts and uncles: Larry (Terri) Porter, Dell (Dar) Halvorson, Jennie Porter (Leon Engelhart), Ronnie (Janice) Tolifson, Gary (Patty) Tolifson, Randy (Janice) Tolifson, Ricky Tolifson, Susie Tolifson-Lone, Danny (Karen) Tolifson, Debbie (Larry) Robertson and Janice Tolifson and several cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.  She was preceded in death by her mother, Janice (Jan) Tolifson, her grandparents: Del and Dorothy Porter and Les and Delores Tolifson, an uncle, David Tolifson and her best friend and faithful companion, Gunner.

Visitation: One hour prior to the service.

Memorial service: Saturday, January 12, 2019 at 1:00 P.M. at the Glende-Nilson Funeral Home in Fergus Falls.
