Edna Brothen

Edna Jane Brothen, 96, died July 8, 2019 at Pioneer Care in Fergus Falls, Minnesota.

She was born November 30, 1922 in Fergus Falls to Thorval and Bertha (Nerby) Brothen.  She was baptized and confirmed at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Fergus Falls.

Edna is survived by several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents and five siblings: Art, Ivar, Bjorn, Margaret and Signe (Louise).

Edna’s family would like to thank the staff at Pioneer Care for their loving care during her stay with them.  A special “thank you” to Marge Waldham.  She is a true friend who never wavered in her devotion to Edna.

A memorial service is scheduled for 10:00 A.M. on Monday, November 11 at the Pioneer Care Chapel.

Burial will be at Oak Grove Cemetery in Fergus Falls.
