Jean Kamrowski, age 77, of Fergus Falls, passed away Thursday, October 17, 2013, at Broen Home, Fergus Falls.
Jean Rose Grimm was born on July 20, 1936, in Chaska, Minnesota, the daughter of Leo and Anna (Jacques) Grimm. In 1954, she graduated from Guardian Angels High School in Chaska.
Jean began her career at Minneapolis Moline in Hopkins, Minnesota, where she met Louie. On February 7, 1959, Jean married Louie Kamrowski at Guardian Angels Catholic Church. Louie's job with the MN State Patrol brought them to Fergus Falls where Jean worked for Knutson Plumbing and Heating and Skyvision, both in Fergus Falls.
In her spare time, Jean enjoyed entertaining, decorating, gardening, shopping, cooking, baking and daily walks. Most memorable were winters spent in Arizona, where much time was spent with family and friends as well as family trips.
Jean was a member of Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church, the Catholic Daughters, TOPS #400, where she held many positions including president (recently celebrating 40 years as a KOPS member in June 2013). She was a life member of the VFW Auxiliary. She volunteered for many organizations particularly special was the Veteran's Home. She was also a member of the Fergus Falls Garden Club.
Jean is survived by her husband, Louie of Fergus Falls; five children: Gary (Kim) of Fergus Falls, Anne (Barry) Sinno of Phoenix, Arizona, Greg (special friend Victoria) of Willmar, MN, Beth (Larry) Porter of Oakdale, MN, and Sara Kamrowski of Fergus Falls; three grandchildren: Aaron, Shelby and Nicholas; and three sisters: Julie Hammers and Mary Walter, both of Chaska, and Pat (Wally) Kerber of Winsted, MN.
In addition to her parents, Jean was preceded in death by her twin brother, James.

Mass of Christian Burial: 11 AM Monday, October 21, 2013 at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church, Fergus Falls
Visitation: 4 – 7 PM Sunday, at Glende-Nilson Funeral Home, Fergus Falls, with a Catholic Daughters Rosary at 6 PM, followed by parish prayers at 6:30 PM. Visitation resumes one hour prior to Mass at the church.
