Agnes Kiser

Agnes Kiser, 94, of Amor Township died Wednesday, March 5, 2014 at Lake Region Hospital in Fergus Falls.

Agnes Kiser was born December 29, 1919 to George and Mary (Timms) Brientenbauch. She was baptized, confirmed and married at St. James Catholic Church in Maine Township. She attended 'country school' in Dist. 146, rural Underwood and graduated from Underwood High School in 1939 On July 24, 1940 she married Albert Jacob Kiser. They operated their dairy farm for over 40 years in Maine/Amor Townships.

Agnes enjoyed cooking and baking for her friends and family. She was an avid reader, bird watcher, nature and animal lover and a Twins fan. She had a unique relationship with each of her 13 grandchildren, Steve, Brian, James, Amy, Jodi, Brent, Matthew, Megan, Mallory, Pat, Julie, Darren and Anna. 19 great-grandchildren were also very dear to her: Sheanne, Stephanie, Simone, Shailynn, Ashlee, Allyson, Mark, Garret, Emylee, James David, Brityn, Calvin, Makayla, Ashton, Luke, Max, Aubrey, Gunnar and Freya; as were her five great-great-grandchildren: Amya, Analeigh, Andres, Jesslinn, Jaelynn.

Agnes joined our Heavenly Father on Wednesday, March 5, 2014, 12 years to the day 'Jacob' passed away.

She is survived by one daughter, Beverly (John) Needles of Sioux Falls, SD; 3 sons, Lawrence of Monticello, MN, George 'Joe' of Duluth, MN and Gregory of Minneapolis, MN; 2 daughters-in-law, Sue Kiser of Fargo, ND and Lillian Martin of Gillette, WY; many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband 'Jacob', 3 sons, Mark, Mike and Robert; 2 sisters Lorraine Murray and Regina Baker and her parents.

Funeral Mass: 10:30 AM, Saturday, March 8, 2014 at St. James Catholic Church, Maine

Visitation: Friday, 4-7 PM with prayer service at 7 pm at Glende-Nilson Funeral Home, Fergus Falls - and one hour prior to the service at the Church
