Victor Zelinsky, 81 of rural Battle Lake died Tuesday, July 22, 2025, at the Perham Health.
Victor Allan Zelinsky was born on October 11, 1943, in Brisbane, Australia the son of Victor and Ivy (Haldane) Zelinsky. He graduated from high school, then enlisted with the US Army, working with aircraft while serving in Germany.
Vic and Laurie Nelson were married on June 29, 1993. They lived in their home in Girard Township, rural Battle Lake. He worked various jobs, and the last being an over the road semi driver for Midnite Express Trucking. Vic enjoyed western movies, coffee at Shoreline, the outdoors and mowing lawn, and family time on the pontoon.
He is survived by his wife, Laurie; three daughters, Sherry (Mike) Anthony, Susan (Ken) Samay and Barbie (Matt) Chapman; four stepchildren, Paul (Samantha) Hanson, Jackie Hanson, Laca Evans and Scott (Arrie) Hanson; and by numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Graveside Service: 2:00 PM, Sunday July 27, 2025, at the First Lutheran Cemetery in Battle Lake with coffee and fellowship to follow at the First Lutheran Church.
Military Honors by the US Army Honor Guard.
