Stephen Moran

Stephen T. Moran, 62, of Ashby, died on Sunday, April 14, 2019.

He was born August 24, 1956 in Minneapolis, MN to George and Clara (Reis) Moran.  He grew up and attended school in North Minneapolis, graduating from North Minneapolis High School.  In the early 1980’s, he moved to Ashby where he worked at the Ashby Resort and Motel.  He then took a job with H & R Construction, which he had up to the time of his passing.  Steve was an avid sportsman, a member of Coots Unlimited since its inception and was very involved with and loved the community of Ashby.

Steve is survived by two sisters: Lisa (John) Adolphson of Corcoran and Liz (Dewey) Waltz of Jordan, and by a nephew, Donny (Neelam) Adolphson.  He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Patrick.

Memorials are preferred to the Ashby High School football team or the Ashby High School trapshooting team.

Visitation: Friday, May 10, 2019 from 1 to 3 P.M. at the Glende-Nilson Funeral Home in Ashby.

Graveside service: Friday, May 10, 2019 at 3:10 P.M. at Pelican Lake Cemetery in Ashby.
