Rick (Rickie Allen, Pruitt) Johansen went home to the Lord on May 23, 2023.
Rick was born on March 25, 1954 and grew up on a small farm outside of Underwood, MN.
He married the love of his life, Dee, on January 29, 1982. They raised 4 children and when the grandkids came along they truly stole his heart. Dylon, Gage, HarleyAnn, Jaedin, and Tobi.
Rick loved driving… whether it be his old Kenworth, a gravel truck, a School Bus, or his pickup he simply loved to be behind the wheel. He also enjoyed nascar racing, a Dale Earnhardt fan for life. His collections of unique and unusual things fill the shelves and are filled with stories.
Rick joins a number of loved ones who have gone before him to heaven including his father Jens and mother Alfreda.
He is survived by his wife Dena, children Amy (Rob) Palmer, Nicholas (Andrea) Johansen, Shawn (Brandy) Johansen, Allyson Johansen, grandchildren Dylon Bonsall, Gage, HarleyAnn and Jaedin Johansen, Tobias Johansen, and his furry four legged feline companions Blackie and Tigger.
We know that Rick is at peace in the arms of the Lord… and drinking coffee and having donuts with the loved ones who met him at the gates.
There will be a celebration of Rick’s life will be held August 12th from 2-5 PM at 32704 co highway122, South Turtle Lake, Underwood MN. It will be informal and please bring a chair, share a story and talk with the family.
