Prestin Shane Drexler 29, of Fargo, ND passed away Sunday September 24 2023.
Prestin Shane was born January 24, 1994 in Fergus Falls MN. The son of Shane and Denette (Hammer) Drexler. He was baptized and confirmed at Peace Lutheran church in Ashby. He graduated from Ashby High School. After high school, he took one year off and was a manager at Dairy Queen in Battle Lake MN where he lead a team while maintaining a happy and efficient environment for customers and fellow staff. It was here he met his best friend, Bre.
He went on to College in St. Cloud for a year, then transferred to NDSU for his last three years of college. He graduated with full honors and always on the Dean’s List, which he was very proud of. He studied business and accounting and graduated with a degree in Finance. While he was in college he participated in Circle K and the Bison Fund.
Out of college he worked as a bank auditor for the government, then he went on to work as an auditor at First West State Bank and Bank Forward where enjoyed a fast paced environment and creating relationships with customers.
Prestin was very successful in anything he put his mind to. He was a wonderful Son, Grandson, Nephew, Brother, Uncle and Friend.
Preceding him in death were his Grandpa Lawrence (Grandpa Cookie) Grandma Karen and Grandma June and his Best Friend Justin Woldahl.
Prestin is Survived by his Parents, Shane and Denette (Hammer) Drexler, Ashby MN; Siblings Kirstin Drexler (Josh Mark) and Makenzie Drexler (Zach Guthmiller); His Beloved Dogs Hank and Rufus; His many aunts and uncles; His eight Nieces and Nephews and many friends.
Funeral Service: 2 PM, Friday, September 29 at Peace Lutheran Church, Ashby, with visitation one hour prior to the service.
