Nancy Currier

Nancy Ruth Currier, 57, of Clitherall, Minnesota, passed away on Tuesday, July 9, 2024, at Alomere Health Hospital in Alexandria, MN.

Nancy Ruth Koski was born May 24, 1967, to Harland and Patricia (Jenkins) Koski. She was the third out of five siblings: Steve, Paul, Nancy, Robert and Jane. Nancy attended Temple Christian Academy through Jr. High and Benson High School in Omaha, Nebraska.

Right out of high school, she met the love of her life, Toby Currier. They were married May 23, 1987. They welcomed a daughter, Jamie, in January 1993; a son, Jacob, in July 1997. They moved to their home in Clitherall, MN in 1999 where she spent the rest of her days. 

She is survived by her husband, Toby; son, Jacob; daughter, Jamie (Brendan); grandchildren, Tevin and Jude; mother, Pat Peterson; father, Harland Koski; brothers, Steve (Uli) Koski, Paul (Becky) Koski, Robert (Grace) Koski; sister, Jane (Don) Schmidt; along with many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins who will all miss her dearly. 

Nancy loved to be outside. She and Toby would go camping and travel on the back of his Harley. She also loved to swim and spend the day at the lake with her kids and family. She was so smart and loved to read and learn. She always had something new to tell you the next time you called. 

Our family’s favorite things about her are the way she smiled and laughed. She had an intense love for her family and Jesus, and she would tell you that any chance she got. She always said, “I love you!” She had a beautiful soul, with more love than she could ever give. Despite all the pains of this life, she always chose to love and forgive. 

“In my Father’s house are many rooms, if it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and take you to myself, that where I am, you may be also. And you know the way to where I am going.” John 14:2-4
