Kim Johnson, 38 of rural Underwood, Minnesota died Wednesday, January 21, 2015.

Kimberly Jo Johnson was born on April 2, 1976 in Pelican Rapids, Minnesota the daughter of Roy and Sheila (Dalum) Graham. She was baptized in the Cormorant Lutheran Church by Pelican Rapids and confirmed in the Eagle Lake Lutheran Church of rural Battle Lake. Kim graduated from the Battle Lake High School in 1997.

Kim and Brent Underhill were married in June of 1994. To this marriage three children were born, Mareena, Brenna and Daniel. They were later divorced. On February 26, 2008 Kim married Jason Johnson. She had lived in Battle Lake, Vining, Lake Mills, Forest City and then Underwood. Kim was a homemaker in the home, enjoying gardening, raising flowers her favorite being blue roses, hunting, fishing and the outdoors. Kim liked photography, taking pictures of landscapes which she would give as gifts. She also was a writer, especially enjoying poetry and in the seventh grade, she had a poem published, "The Styrofoam Cup" which earned an award from Governor Perpich. She loved helping people and always put others first, Kim was a very caring person. Kim enjoyed her family, especially her kids and loved being a Grandma. She was a member of the Eagle Lake Lutheran Church.

She is survived by her husband, Jason; three children, Mareena Underhill of Fergus Falls, Brenna Underhill and Daniel Underhill both of Underwood; granddaughter, Emmah; parents, Roy and Sheila Graham of Battle Lake; three sisters, Angela Ernst of Fergus Falls; Lisa (Tony) Woodroffe of Robbinsdale and Stacey (Jeff) Lovell of Minneapolis; and by numerous relatives and friends.

Memorials preferred to Kim's Children's Fund.

A Celebration of Life: 2:00 pm Monday, January 26, 2015 at the Eagle Lake Lutheran Church of rural Battle Lake

Visitation: one hour prior to the service

Clergy: Rev. Ali Haugerud

Interment: Lands Cemetery by Hoffman
