James Svec

James Svec, Father, Grandfather, Great Grandfather, of Battle Lake, passed away on April 25, 2026, at the age of 92 surrounded by family. Preceded in death by his wife, Lois Svec; daughter, Cecilia, Son, Paul and Grandson, Jason. He is survived by; Son, Joseph Svec, Raymond (Mary) Svec, Christine Haney, Jeanette (Wolfgang) Leitner, Robert (Renee) Svec, Louis Svec, Marguerite (David) Bacon, Richard Svec, Theresa Svec, along with 12 Grandchildren, 8 Great Grandchildren, Sisters & Brothers. Memorial services will be at Glende-Nilson Funeral Home in Battle Lake on May 18,2026 at 2pm, with a visitation one hour prior. Private interment will be held for the family at the Union Cemetery in Maplewood, MN at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Community Center of Battle Lake, MN.
