Heather Lynn Synstelien

Heather Synstelien, 41 of Fergus Falls passed away Sunday, March 3, 2024, at Sanford Health in Fargo.

Heather Lynn Synstelien was born on February 11, 1983, in Fergus Falls, Minnesota the daughter of Paul and Katherine (Ryan) Jacobs.  She was baptized and confirmed in Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Dalton.  Heather attended the Ashby Public School graduating from Ashby High School in 2002, then continued her education for two years at Alexandria Technical College, studying Home Health Care.

Heather and Corey Synstelien were married on January 1, 2005, at home in Fergus Falls.  They were blessed with three children, Dylan, Taylor and Kyndra.  She was employed with Synstelien Homes, Woodland Lodge as a housekeeper, Broen Home in laundry, and then with Lake Homes group home.  She enjoyed crocheting, reading, spending time with family and especially her kids.  Heather was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Brethren Church.

She is survived by three children, Dylan, Taylor and Kyndra; parents, Paul and Kathy Jacobs; sister, Melissa Jacobs; four brothers, Zachary, Nicholas, Isaac and Ryan Jacobs; grandmother, Betty Jacobs; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives and friends.  Heather was preceded in death by one brother, Michael Jacobs; maternal grandparents, Wyllis and Helen Ryan; and paternal grandpa, Marvin Jacobs.

Memorial Service: 2:00 PM, Saturday, March 16, 2024, at Good Shepherd Lutheran Brethren Church in Fergus Falls. Visitation will be Friday, March 15^th from 5 to 7 PM, with a Prayer Service at 6:30 PM, at the Glende-Nilson Funeral Home in Fergus Falls, and will resume one hour prior to the service at the church.  Burial will be in Our Saviors Cemetery by Dalton.
