Darlene Kadel

Darlene Ann Kadel, 77, of Erhard died Saturday January 6, 2024, at her residence. 

She was born May 15, 1946, in Fergus Falls, MN, to Henry and Mabel (Olson) Armstrong. She was baptized and confirmed at Augustana Lutheran Church in Fergus Falls. She attended Fergus Falls High School. 

Darlene married Murray Kadel in 1964 and in that Union, they had 7 children. 

Darlene was employed at Quality Circuits and then at Banner Engineering for numerous years until they closed in 2009. 

She enjoyed taking trips to the casino, sharing stories over cups of coffee, and spending time with her family.  

Darlene is survived by her children: Tonya Kadel, Troy Kadel, Trent Kadel, and Terry Kadel. Her grandchildren: Crystal, Ashley, April, Amanda, Mason, Peyton, Asher, Riley, and Remington. Brother: Richard (Diane) Armstrong and numerous nieces and nephews. 

Proceeded in death by her parents; children, Tammie, Todd, and Travis Kadel; Granddaughter, Tianna; Brothers, Mervin, Kenny, and Clinton Erickson and Sister, Marlys Julsrud.
