Claris Keeping, 65, of Fergus Falls, died Monday, August 3, 2015, at the Broen Home in Fergus Falls.
Claris Elaine Johnson was born on June 8, 1950, to Manfred and Ruthmarie (Holmgren) Johnson in Detroit Lakes. She grew up in Lake Park attending church and school and graduated in 1968.
She married Roger Keeping in 1969 and from this union came two daughters, one daughter passed due to prematurity and one son.
She is survived by her children, Byron of Park Rapids and Brenda of Fergus Falls, a sister Janis (Tom) Weets of Osage, stepsisters, Linda (Mike) Berg of Pelican Rapids, and Betty (Gene) Karger of Elbow Lake, and special friend since schoolA�a,a��, Cheryl Vanata and Kathleen Warling and many friendships made over the years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, infant daughter, Suzanne Renae, stepfather, Stanley Eid, and a very special relationship with Floyd Olson for 30 years and with his family. A�a,a��
She entered the Broen Nursing Home and became part of their family over six years ago.
The family would like to extend a very special thank you to all the wonderful people that have provided love and care to this very special woman. Her positive attitude, her smile and laughter will be deeply missed.

Memorial Service: 2 PM Saturday, August 15, 2015, at the Broen Home Light and Life Auditorium in Fergus Falls.
