Cindy Streeter-Wegner, age 57, of Fergus Falls, passed away Saturday, May 5, 2012, at PioneerCare in Fergus Falls.

Cindy Lou Streeter was born April 5, 1955 in Fergus Falls, MN, the daughter of Bud and Angie (Nelson) Streeter. She attended school in Fergus Falls and graduated from Fergus Falls High School. After High School, Cindy went on to attend Staples (MN) Technical College, receiving a degree in graphic art and photography. Cindy married, and later divorced. She later met Wanda, her life partner.

Cindy followed her love for photography all the way to Houston, TX. While in Houston, she photographed many celebrities at various venues and also had her work featured in National Geographic. After twenty years in Texas, Cindy's health brought her back to Fergus Falls.

Cindy attended school at Alexandria Tech, and became a semi-truck driver. After her training, she drove for Holland Enterprises out of Fargo, ND for 9 months and then pulled flatbed for K & L Trucking. Cindy drove for Magnum Limited of Fargo for four years, hauling various things, including hazardous materials, until health issues required her to park the truck.

Cindy had many hobbies, including photography, driving semi, dancing, listening to music, and wrestling statistics. She enjoyed nature, especially lakes and rivers, sunsets, and she was greatly fond of eagles. Cindy was instrumental in starting the Fergus Falls chapter of Narcotics Anonymous, and she was proud to be 22 years clean. She was also a member of the leather community.

Cindy is survived by her daughter, DeLinda Denslow of Phoenix, AZ; parents, Bud and Angie Streeter of Fergus Falls; a sister, Bonnie (Jerry) Donovan of Eagle Bend, MN; three brothers, Bob Streeter of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Michael (Linda) Streeter of Fergus Falls; and Keith (Sue) Streeter of Kansas; an aunt, Patrina Carlson of Fergus Falls; and her four-pawed friend, Tucker.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Gates and Delores (Weinrich) Streeter, Ida Nelson, and Emma and Rupert Nelson; an infant niece, Amanda Maland (daughter of Bonnie Donovan); her life partner, Wanda; and many great aunts and uncles.

Memorial Service: 11:00 AM, Tuesday, May 15, 2012, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Fergus Falls, with visitation one hour prior to services at the church.

Arrangements are with the Glende-Nilson Funeral Home of Fergus Falls for Cindy Streeter-Wegner.
