Bruce Pollin

Pollin, Bruce.   He was born on 3/6/48 and died on 2/8/24.  The son of Otto and Bette Pollin, he was a graduate of Austin HS and the U of M, where he earned a BS in Physics.  For most of his career, he worked as a software engineer, starting at Hughes Aircraft and ending at BAE Systems.  He and Molly retired in 2010 and moved from Minnetonka to Vining, MN.

Bruce was a kind, thoughtful, generous person and a talented pianist.  He was amazingly curious and well-read in a number of areas, including history, science, music, politics, wood-working and Apple products.

He is survived by his wife, Marybrigid “Molly” Patrias, his brothers and sisters-in-law:   Matthew Patrias (Nancy LaChappelle), Christopher Patrias (Charlotte), Cornelia Larson (Scott), Patrick Patrias, Andrew Patrias, Edward Patrias (Marla), and Dorothy “Darby” Bradley (Todd), as well as 18 nieces and nephews and 24 great-nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his great-niece, Cornelia Louise (Lulu) Stalker.

At his request, there will be no service.
