Beverly Hecker

Beverly Hecker, 94, of Battle Lake, died Monday, October 16, 2023, at Lake Region Healthcare, Fergus Falls, Minnesota.

Beverly Jean was born December 5, 1928 to Earl and Clara (Bayers) Myers in Sterling, Illinois. She graduated high school.

She married James Edward Hecker February 25, 1950, in the Church of the Brethren in Sterling. After their marriage they lived in Sterling until 1971 when they moved to rural Underwood where they made a home out of School District No. 199. In 1975 they moved to a farm east of Underwood. Beverly worked as a nurse’s aide.

Beverly is survived by her children, Mike & Sandy, Felica & OD, Mark & Cheryl, Pixie and Lenny, James & Betty, Penny, Tom & Jan; several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

No services are planned per Beverly's wishes.

Interment: Lakewood Cemetery, Battle Lake, Minnesota
