Allen Hoorn

Allen Van Hoorn, age 67, of Fergus Falls , died Friday, November 12, 2010 at his home.

Allen Van Hoorn was born January 25, 1943 to Merlin and Ruby (Wilkie) Van Hoorn. He attended school in Wilmot , SD. Allen owned and operated his own service station in Wilmot. He worked construction jobs and traveled to many states. Allen was a man of many talents. Allen loved to work on cars or any kind of engine and could make anything run. He settled in Fergus Falls , MN .  Allen loved having coffee and visiting and liked to play practical jokes on his friends. Allen had many special friends and caregivers in Fergus Falls .

He is survived by 2 sisters, Merlene Schliesman (Robert) of Wilmot , SD and Vivene Nielsen (James) of Baxter and one brother Dennis Van Hoorn (Cheryl) of Washburn , ND ; 10 nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.
