Allen Carlson, born on September 28, 1974, in Minneapolis, passed away on March 1, 2026, in Fergus Falls. He was a line cook and handyman, using his skills to support those around him. Allen attended Brandon School, and later moved to Colorado where he earned his GED. Throughout his life, he demonstrated a strong commitment to helping others, whether it was through mechanic work, moving, housework, or gardening.

Allen had a passion for life that shone through in his hobbies. He loved fishing, riding motorcycles and three-wheelers, and had a rich artistic side with interests in drawing, writing and listening to music as well as playing guitar. Allen was also known for his inquisitive nature, often found researching the Bible and spending time with family and friends. He had a love of pets especially his dogs and ball pythons.

He leaves behind his children, Kyle (Liliana) Carlson and Trinity Thostenson. Allen is survived by his parents, David and Norma Carlson, and his sibling, Jessy (Bill) Brown. He cherished his nieces and nephews: Anthony, Cody (Krista), Christopher (Gianna), Sierra, Jonathan, Brianna, and Alex, as well as aunts, uncles and cousins.

Allen will be remembered fondly by his family and friends, as well as missed by all who knew him. He is reunited with his grandparents and many aunts, uncles and cousins who have passed.

Celebration of Life: 4:00 P.M., Saturday, March 14, at Love of God Family Church, 829 Tower Road, Fergus Falls, MN.
