Allen Hensch, 70 of rural Fergus Falls died Tuesday, April 17, 2018, at Lake Region Hospital in Fergus Falls.
Allen Albert Hensch was born on July 4, 1947, in Fergus Falls, Minnesota the son of Henry and Anna (Miller) Hensch. He was baptized and confirmed in Western Immanuel Lutheran Church of rural Fergus Falls. Allen attended Campbell Public School. He farmed with his Dad, raising beef cattle, grain and hired out to neighbors. Allen enjoyed his motorcycle and snowmobile, liked country western music, checking fences with his 50 John Deere tractor, the outdoors and he knew every calf. He watched every Star War movie and had an excellent memory for actors and shows, reading the National Enquirer and The Globe and had a great interest in Hollywood.
He is survived by three brothers, Edward (Patricia) Hensch of Campbell, Donald (Marilyn) Hensch of Fargo and Byron (Tanya) Hensch of Battle Lake; and by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Allen was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Anna Hensch and sister, Lucille Freitag.
Memorial Service: 1:00 PM, Friday, April 20, 2018, at Glende-Nilson Funeral Home in Fergus Falls with visitation one hour prior to the service.
