Waldo Jante

Waldo Jante, 83, of Evansville , died Monday, March 22, 2010 at the Evansville Care Center .

Waldo Wayne Jante, was born April 3, 1926 at home in Millerville Township , the son of Herman and Myrtle (Ekstadt) Jante. He was baptized & confirmed at Trinity Lutheran Church and attended Country School District 72.

He was engaged in general farming on the family farm until the fall 1995. Waldo spent years caring for his Mother following her illness. In December of 1995, he moved into Evansville Care Center . Waldo was lifetime member of Trinity Lutheran Church . He enjoyed farming, cutting wood, his Minneapolis Moline tractors, and visiting with friends and neighbors when they stopped by for coffee.

Waldo is survived by cousins, family & friends. He was preceded in death by parents Herman and Myrtle Jante, sister and brother-in-law, Arlette and Aldrich Olson.
