Sylvia Hanneman

Sylvia Hanneman, age 90, of Fergus Falls , died on Sunday, January 23, 2011 at Broen Memorial Home, Fergus Falls .

Sylvia Kathleen Hanneman was born March 17, 1920 in Trondhjem Township rural Rothsay , MN to Erick and Clara (Ouren) Jorgenson. Her family lived on various farms and then in Carlisle Township . Sylvia attended District 221 School.

Sylvia married Vernon Hanneman September 26, 1942. They lived and farmed in Carlisle Township . Vernon died in 1995 and she continued to live on the farm until 1998 when she moved into Fergus Falls .

Sylvia enjoyed her family, reading, playing cards, bird watching, visiting, baking and fishing, especially sunfish. She was a lifetime member of Hedemarken Lutheran Church and Ladies Aide.

She is survived by her children, Dale (Marcy) Hanneman, LuAnn (Micheal) Rudh, David (Vicki) Hanneman, Dean (Jackie) Hanneman, Lynn (Heather Budke) Hanneman; grandchildren Todd (Katie) Hanneman, Kjersti (Nathan Paine) Hanneman, Kelly (Keven Kvalsten) Hanneman, Mindy (Brian ) Fuder, Jay Hanneman, Dustin Hanneman, Brooke (Chris) Anderson, Jake (Mercedes) Rudh, Rebecca Wulf and Colt Budke; great-grandchildren, Charlie and Ellie Fuder and Ava and Samuel Hanneman; siblings, Harley (Gwen) Jorgenson of Erhard, Elroy (Dorothy) Jorgenson of Rothsay, Edward (Doris) Jorgenson of Rothsay, Ruby Hanneman of Erhard, Gaylen (Ethelyn) Jorgenson of Underwood, Gloria (Delain) Miller of Fergus Falls and numerous nieces and nephews.

Sylvia was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon; her parents and one granddaughter, Jennifer Hanneman.

Funeral Services: Thursday, January 27, 2011 at 1:00 PM Hedemarken Lutheran Church, rural Rothsay

Visitation: Wednesday from 5-7 PM at Glende-Nilson Funeral Home, Fergus Falls and one hour prior at the church
