Steven Okeson

Steve Okeson, 66, died Tuesday, October 5th, at his home on Ottertail Lake under Hospice care.




Steve was born February 5th, 1944, in Canton, South Dakota to Roy and LaVerne (Kellgren) Okeson.  Steve attended Canton High School, graduating in 1962.  Steve was involved with many businesses over the years, including owning a paver company in Omaha, owning Three Seasons Lodge on Ottertail Lake, and also the Old Brick Inn in Battle Lake. He was also a member of the Minnesota National Guard.




Steve enjoyed hunting and fishing, and visiting with his many friends, with whom he shared many memories.




Steve was preceded in death by his parents.  He is survived by several cousins.




As per Steve's wishes, there will be no service.  Memorials to Lakeland Hospice, Fergus Falls, MN.
