Shelly Ann Drussell was born on September 23, 1959 in
Fargo
,
North Dakota
the daughter of Darrald Paul and Alice Ruth (Garrison) Grenier.
She was baptized and received First Communion at Holy Spirit Church of Fargo. Shelly attended Fergus Falls Public Schools and continued her education with the
Beauty
Academy
in
Fargo
.
She moved to
Alexandria
and was the proud mother of two children, Katie and Levi.
In 1992 she moved her family to
Glenwood Springs
,
CO
and in 2007 returned to the
Carlisle
area.
Shelly was employed in construction as a heavy equipment operator both in
Minnesota
and
Colorado
.
She loved the outdoors and antiquing.
She also enjoyed spending time with her friends, family and especially her children.
She is survived by her children, Katie Drussell and Levi Drussell both of Fergus Falls; her father, Darrald Grenier of Alexandria; two sisters, Denise Grenier of Western, NE and Deena (Jim) Steffl of Alexandria; two brothers, Kevin (Mary) Grenier of Anchorage, AK and Corey Grenier of Aberdeen, SD; and by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Shelly was preceded in death by her mother, Alice Grenier.
