Rachel Gregor

Rachel Gregor, age 85, of Fergus Falls , died Sunday, October 31, 2010 at her residence in Fergus Falls .

Rachel was born May 12, 1925 in Milnor , ND to Henry and Maria ( Kiel ) Kemple. She grew up and attended school in Milnor. Rachel married Edward Gregor on December 23, 1944 in Webster , SD. During Edward’s time in the military she lived in South Carolina . Following his military duty, they moved to the Gwinner and Wyndmere area in North Dakota where they lived until 1951 when they moved to Fargo .

In 1952 they moved to Fergus Falls where Rachel worked various jobs. She was the manager of Hallmark Cards in Fergus Falls for 20 years and later worked for Archie’s and King Koin Laundry. Rachel loved gardening, making cookies and donuts, lefse and horseradish. She was a resident of River Bend Apartments for the past 10 years.

Rachel is survived by her sons, Michael (Linda) Gregor of Alexandria, Dan (Neoma) Gregor of Circle Pines, Terry (Judy) Gregor of Fergus Falls; grandchildren and step-grandchildren; great-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren; great-great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, relatives and friends

She was preceded in death by her husband Edward in 1975; son Steven in 1986; her parents and 13 siblings.
