Patricia Young, 77 of Fergus Falls died Saturday, October 25, 2014 at the Broen Home.

Patricia Margaretha Young was born on January 12, 1937 in Barrett, Minnesota the daughter of Nelson and Josie (Cornillie) Williams. She attended school in the Herman/Norcross area and the Ashby/Battle Lake area, graduating from the Ashby High School in 1955. After graduation, Patricia worked for the Bell Telephone Company and continued working primarily for the Bell Telephone Company/AT&T until her retirement.

On August 10, 1963 Patricia married Lyle M. Young. The couple lived and worked in St. Paul for most of their nearly forty year marriage. Lyle passed away in 2003. Patricia loved to dance, travel, do volunteer work, be involved in church activities, and visit with family and friends. The family is thankful for the excellent care from the staff Patricia received at both the Pioneer and Broen Homes.

Patricia is survived by her daughter, Sally Roth; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews; sister, Mary Beck; sister-in-law, Laura Williams; brothers, Edward (Ann) Williams, Albert "Pete" (Janis) Williams, John (Sandy) Williams and Dean (Donna) Williams. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lyle; parents, Nelson and Josie; brother, Nelson and sister, Sara Jean.

Visitation: 4 – 7 PM Thursday, October 30, 2014, with a prayer service at 5 PM, at Glende-Nilson Funeral Home, Fergus Falls.

Interment: 1 PM Saturday, November 1, 2014, at Acacia Park Cemetery, Mendota Heights, MN with visitation from 12 – 1 PM, at Acacia Park Chapel
