Marjorie Lacey was born on February 21, 1924 to William and Myrtle (Kjer) Pergande. She was a member of the Federated Church. Marjorie was a cook at the Elks Club for more than 30 years. She was very proud of all the praise she received for her soup at the Elks Club. Marjorie has resided in Fergus Falls her entire 86 years of life.
On Tuesday, October 5, 2010 Marjorie Lacey passed away at Broen Memorial in Fergus Falls, MN at the age of 86 years.
She is survived by her 3 daughters, Eva Burke of Waconia, Jody Mortenson of Fergus Falls, Laura Tradewell of Young America; her son, Robert (Pam) Lacey of Eagen; 7 grandchildren; 2 step-grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; 3 sisters, Frances Johnson of Fergus Falls, JoAnne Thornton of Fergus Falls, Ruth (Kenny) Anderson of Fergus Falls; and several nieces and nephews.
Marjorie was preceded in death by her loving daughter, Shelia Frye; her parents, William and Myrtle Pergande; and her brother Milford Pergande.
Funeral Service:
Friday, October 8, 2010 at 11:00 a.m., Federated Church in Fergus Falls.
