Louetta Kelly, 85, of Ashby, died on Thursday, October 29, 2015, at her home, under the care of Knute-Nelson Hospice.
Louetta Kelly was born on December 7, 1929, in Washburn, North Dakota, the daughter of Emil and Lizzie (Schatz) Jessser. She attended school in Bismarck, North Dakota.
On June 4, 1950, she married Lester Kelly in Bismarck, North Dakota. The couple had one daughter, Debra. Louetta worked at Honeywell in Minneapolis, Minnesota for 38 years before retiring at the age of 58. Louetta was very active in the Ashby Senior Citizens.
Louetta enjoyed fishing, playing bingo, watching wheel of fortune and shopping. She loved her dogs, wearing onsie pajamas and enjoyed nature and the trees.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Emil and Lizzie; husband, Lester Kelly and a brother, Eugene Jesser.
She is survived by her daughter, Debra Corby of Ashby; two grandchildren, Dane (Susan) Pedersen of Brooklyn Center, MN and Derek (Melanie Hubbard) Pedersen of Ashby; two great grandchildren, Gavin and Caden; a sister, Eillen (Richard) Doberstein of Phoenix, AZ and two brothers, Dale (Jeanette) Jesser of New Hope, MN and Victor (Linda) Jesser of Zionsville, IN along with numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
Funeral Services: 11 AM, Wednesday, November 4 at Peace Lutheran Church, Ashby
Visitation: 4-6 PM, Tuesday, November 3 at Glende-Nilson Funeral Home of Ashby - and one hour prior to the service at the Church
