Julie Ann Rokes, 59, of Fergus Falls, died peacefully on Wednesday, April 12, 2017, at PioneerCare in Fergus Falls, surrounded by her family.
Julie was born September 5, 1957 in Crookston, MN, to John and Dolores (Gilbertson) Samulis. She completed her education in Crookston and later moved to the Fergus Falls area. She was a hairstylist and until her death, worked as a home healthcare provider.
Her passions in life were gardening, fishing, planting flowers, cooking, baking, and the love of her cats through the years.
Julie is survived by her sisters, Nancy (Gordy) Boucher of Big Lake, MN, Diane (Charles) Hannah of Otsego, MN; her fiancé, Clinton Miller of Fergus Falls; a half-sister, Michelle (Bruce) Caspers of Shepherd, Montana; her cat, 'Lil Bit'; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her grandparents; and a brother, Tony.
Julie will be interred alongside her parents and brother at Oakdale Cemetery in Crookston, MN at a later date. May God richly bless Julie's Memory.
