Judee Olsen, 65 of Barrett, passed away Monday, January 13, 2014 at the Pioneer Care Center in Fergus Falls.
Judee Ann Olsen was born on June 20, 1948 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin the daughter of Frank and Mildred (Lehman) Pfeiffer. She graduated from high school in Milwaukee.
On June 14, 1968, Judee was united in marriage to Charles Olsen in the St. Luke's Lutheran Church in Garfield, Minnesota. They owned and operated the Pomme de Terre Nursery. Judee worked at the Barrett Care Center for 23 years. She enjoyed reading, sewing, gardening, spending time with her dogs, thrift shopping, rummage sales, watching American Idol along with other television. Judee especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and family.
Judee is survived by her children and families, Timothy Olsen, Drew, Jackson, Jake and Dane of North Pole, Alaska; Kimberlee (Jesse) Olsen Canton, Annelise and Cade of Fergus Falls; Robin (Joey) Williams and Brooke of Fargo; and Dustin (fiancée, Danielle) Olsen and Will of Wendell; good friend, Georgia Cooper of Barrett. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Olsen on March 21, 2012 and by her parents.
