Jeremy Grewe, 36 of rural Clitherall, Minnesota died Saturday, May 21, 2016, at Sanford Health in Fargo surrounded by his family and close friends.
Jeremy Eric Grewe was born on November 16, 1979, in New York Mills, Minnesota. His parents are Cheryl (Donovan) Grewe and Terry (Pat) Butcher. He was baptized and confirmed in the Trefoldighed Lutheran Church and graduated from the Battle Lake High School in 1998. After high school he did various jobs, mainly did construction work but excelled in his love of painting. Jeremy enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing, the lakes and all watersports, including water skiing and wakeboarding. He enjoyed lawn and garden work and was known for doing projects, he was a very hands on man. Jeremy was a friend to all with a great sense of humor and a contagious smile.He enjoyed four wheeling and watching the beautiful sunsets with Madi. Jeremy's main priority and joy in his life was his daughter, Madi.
He is survived by his daughter, Madison; parents, Don (Cheryl) Grewe of Battle Lake and Terry (Pat) Butcher of Fergus Falls; five siblings, Cory (Mikala) Grewe of Fergus Falls, Katrina (Mark) Butcher of Fergus Falls, Tonya Grewe of Rothsay, Jamie (Rachel) Butcher of Fergus Falls and Ryan (Erin) Grewe of Breckenridge; grandmother, Doris Butcher; his special friend, Kari Johnson; and by numerous relatives and a family of friends. Jeremy was preceded in death by his grandparents, Herbert and Lenore Teckemeyer, Darol Butcher, Bill and Marie Grewe and Glen and Gladys Salomonson; uncle, Ron Butcher and his nephew, Tyler Grewe.
Funeral Service: 1:00 PM, Thursday, May 26, 2016, at Trefoldighed Lutheran Church of rural Battle Lake
Visitation: Wednesday from 4 to 7 PM with a Prayer Service at 7 PM at Glende-Nilson Funeral Home in Battle Lake and one hour prior to the service at the church.
