Jeffry Wolfswinkel, 55, of Fargo, formerly of Fergus Falls, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, August 19, 2014 in Fargo.
Jeffry James Wolfswinkel was born in Breckenridge, MN on May 1, 1959, the son of Leslie and Lois (Schulz) Wolfswinkel. He attended school in Fergus Falls, graduating from Fergus Falls High School. Jeff moved to Fort Worth, Texas to work as a welder and was married to Renee Nepper, and they had two children.
In the early 1990's, Jeff returned to Fergus Falls to be closer to family and friends. Jeff met Sheri Nelson, and they were blessed with three children. He continued his career as a welder as well, working for several area businesses.
In 2009, Jeff moved to New York City and worked in construction and also as a welder, most notably, working for Kawasaki. It was while living in New York that Jeff reconnected with Debbie Uccello, and they have been constant companions until the day of his passing.
Jeff had many interests and hobbies, including snowmobiling, darts, weight lifting, and body building. He was known for his ability to fix absolutely anything and was genuinely knowledgeable. More important than his hobbies or work was Jeff's willingness to give the shirt off his back to anybody.
Most important to Jeff was the love for people in general, especially for his family and most of all, his children.
Jeffry is survived by his children, Trisha and Amy Wolfswinkel of Texas, Katelyn Nelson, Kaysha Wolfswinkel, and Kylanda Nelson all of Fergus Falls; mother, Lois (Art) Nulph of Fergus Falls; four sisters, Brenda (Tim) Baumer of East Grand Forks, MN, Tammy Bye of Jacksonville, FL, Margie Jackson of Fargo, and Lois (Dean) Anderson of Fergus Falls; eight grandchildren; step brothers, Curtis Wolfswinkel of Breckenridge and Adam Dembraski of Arizona; and his companion, Debbie Uccello of Long Island, New York.
Jeffry is preceded in death by his father, Leslie Wolfswinkel and his uncle C. Allen Schulz.
