Janette Koebernick

Janette Koebernick, 91 of Fargo, ND, died on Sunday, January 4, 2015, at Bethany Homes in Fargo, ND.

Janette Lydia Koebernick was born January 23, 1923 to Arthur and Olga (Zimmerman) Neuman in Wheaton, Minnesota. She was baptized and confirmed and attended rural country school near Wheaton, continuing her education at Trade School in Morris. Janette worked at Omeara's and Norby's department stores in Fergus Falls.

She married Leonard Walter Koebernick, November 5, 1950 at Trinity Lutheran Church. The couple raised 3 children; Glenn, Lynna and Lynn. Janette was a homemaker working hard baking, cooking or in her garden. Janette enjoyed politics, puzzles, cards, reading, embroidery, needlework, traveling, crafting, crocheting and entertaining. Many were touched by her words of wisdom. She had a great sense of humor, sharing laughter with family and friends.

Janette is survived by her children, Glenn (Lori) Koebernick of Rogers, ND, twins Lynna (Thomas) Duerr of Fargo, ND and Lynn Koebernick of Rogers, ND; six grandchildren, Glenn Lynn, Aaron, Melissa, Justin, Sheena and Shannon; ten great-grandchildren, Dylan, Kyle, Brandon, Anthony, Ethan, Neco, Alice, Grace, Jude and Eve; relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Leonard; brother, Ralph Neuman and twin grandchildren, Monica and Melinda.

Memorial Service: 2:00 P.M., Friday, January 9, 2015, at the Glende-Nilson Funeral Home in Fergus Falls with a visitation one hour prior to the service.

Clergy: Pastor Roger Lange

Arrangements are with the Glende-Nilson Funeral Home of Fergus Falls.
