Glen White

Glen White, 55, of Millerville, MN, died on Wednesday, April 15, 2015, at Stevens Community Medical Center in Morris.

Glen Richard was born on June 15, 1959, the son of Richard and Carol (Grothen) White at the Parkers Prairie Hospital in Parkers Prairie, MN. He attended Miltona Elementary and graduated fromPparkers Prairie High School. He went on to attend Alexandria Technical College where he earned an associate's Degree in Welding.

In September of 1978, he married Vicki Sletto. The couple were the parents of two sons, Jason and Ryan. Glen drove milk truck for over 30 years for the Millerville Creamery where he also became manager. He recently was employed at New Horizons in Herman and really enjoyed his coworkers and time spent there.
On September 6, 2008, he married Melissa Behrens at the Glendalough State Park in Battle Lake, MN.

Glen enjoyed fishing, gardening, canning and cooking anything he could as he called himself Chef BoyarGlen. He was known as a jack of all trades and very hard worker. Glen loved his family; he especially cherished spending time and baking cookies for his grandkids when they came over. Another pastime of Glen's was to watch Clint Eastwood movies and the Tuesday NCIS date night with his wife, Melissa. Glen and Melissa had three very special canine children, Bear, Gibbs and Champ who passed away in 2013. Glen will be missed dearly by his family, friends and all who knew him.

Glen is survived by his parents, Richard and Carol White of Parkers Prairie, MN; his wife, Melissa Behrens of Millerville, MN; two sons, Jason (Shannon) White of Big Lake, MN and Ryan (Erica)White of Brandon, MN; two sisters, Clara (Joe) Hammer of Osakis and Carolyn (Tom) Debilzen of Parkers Prairie, MN; a brother, George White of Brooten, MN; seven grandchildren, Dezmond, Carter, Raina, Tatum, Britta, Paisleigh and Jorja along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents.

Visitation: Friday, April 17, 2015, from 5-7, with a 6:30 prayer service at the Glende-Nilson Funeral Home in Evansville and resuming one hour prior to the service at Our Lady of Seven Dolors Church.

Funeral Service: 11:00 a.m., Saturday, April 18, 2015, at Our Lady of Seven Dolors Church in Millerville.
