Gladys Hall

Gladys Ardell Hall, 78, of Fergus Falls, died Sunday August 24, 2014 at Lake Region Hospital in Fergus Falls.

She was born May 10, 1936 to Clair and Ivadell Reams at there home in Folden Township near Henning. She attended school in Henning. Following her school years she moved to the Twin Cities for work. In May of 1956, she married Martin Quam and lived in Redwing. They had one son, Dennis Quam.

In April of 1972, she married Gaylord Hall. They lived on a hobby farm on German Lake near Underwood while owning and operating the Underwood Laundromat. Gaylord passed away January 10, 1983.

Gladys moved to Fergus Falls and lived at Riverview Heights Apartments for over 20 years. She enjoyed her many friends and activities there. Over the years, Gladys enjoyed gardening, canning, baking, and caring for her pets. Gladys' greatest joy was following her grandchildren's activities and visiting with family and friends. She was involved with Bible study and Christian Women.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Clair and Ivadell Reams; and her husband Gaylord Hall.

She is survived by her son, Dennis (Nancy) Quam of Battle Lake; grandchildren, Amanda Quam of Mankato, Darren Quam of Underwood, and Ashley Quam of Battle Lake; and her sister, Venita Stout of Rio Rancho, New Mexico.

Memorial Service: 10:00 AM Friday, August 29, 2014, at Glende-Nilson Funeral Home, Fergus Falls, with visitation one hour prior to services.

Interment: Sverdrup Lutheran Cemetery, Underwood
