Elaine Andrews, 70, of Foxhome, died Wednesday, August 17, 2016, at Lake Region Hospital.
Jane Elaine Andrews was born on September 12, 1946 in Fergus Falls, MN to Roy and Ruby (Heidlebaugh) Andrews. She was a graduate of Breckenridge High School and Minnesota State University in Moorhead, Mankato State University, and Seminary Studies at Hillcrest.
Elaine taught in Wolf Point, Montana and also worked at the museum in Breckenridge, MN.
Elaine enjoyed her dogs, mowing her yard at home and at her lake place, collecting beanie babies, and anything to do with the Minnesota Twins. She loved family genealogy, photography, state and national parks and had a phenomenal memory when it came to dates and times.
Elaine was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Norma Kay Andrews of Phoenix.
The family is requesting no cards, memorials, or flowers.
A Celebration of Elaine's Life will take place from 5 – 7 PM Monday, August 22, 2016, with a 6 PM Service, at Glende-Nilson Funeral Home in Fergus Falls.
