Edna Reichmuth

Edna Mae Reichmuth, age 82, of Fergus Falls , died Tuesday, February 01, 2011 at Lake Region Hospital in Fergus Falls .

Edna Mae Reichmuth was born March 11, 1928 to parents Earl and Della (Bump) Layman in Graceville , MN . She grew up in Graceville and attended the Graceville Schools graduating with the class of 1946.

On November 25, 1950, Edna was married to John (Jack) Reichmuth in Graceville , MN at Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Jack and Edna owned and operated a mink ranch and gas station in Chokio. The couple moved to Fergus Falls in 1971. Edna worked as a sales woman her entire life and retired in 1993. Edna moved into The Village Cooperative Apartments in August 2005.

Edna golfed, fished and water skied when she was younger. In later years she enjoyed reading, crocheting, knitting, cards and visiting with friends and family at the Ottertail Lake cabin.

She is survived by her son Pat (Kathleen) Reichmuth of Owasso, OK, Nancy (Steve) Dussl of Mankato, MN, Catherine (Gerald Kurth) Reichmuth of Chandler, AZ, and Carol Coleman of Fergus Falls, MN; 10 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; sisters, Jean Setterlund, Maryann (Marvin) Weick, Joan (Paul) Wawers, Ethel (Jim) Phalen and Claire Marie (Alvin) Beck.

Edna is preceded in death by husband, Jack; son, Donald; parents, Earl and Della; one sister and 7 brothers.

The family would like to recognize her friends at Village Cooperative for their friendship and support at the Village Cooperative. Edna especially enjoyed her visit with “the couch girls” each evening.
