Delaine Neubauer, 92, of Fergus Falls, died on Saturday, April 18, 2015, at the Broen Home in Fergus Falls.
Delaine Martha was born on November 5, 1922, in Star Lake Township, the daughter of Harold and Ida (Wischnaack) Jenne. She lived in the Dent area until the age of 12 when she moved with her family to Fergus Falls. Delaine was baptized at Dent Immanuel Lutheran Church by the Reverend August Sieving and was confirmed in 1937 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Fergus Falls. Delaine graduated in 1941 from Washington High School in Fergus Falls.
On October 22, 1941, she married Floyd Neubauer at the Trinity Parsonage. The family moved to a place purchased in Maplewood Township in 1954. The family was active in 4-H and Delaine was a 4-H Serving Leader for many years. She lived there until the state purchased their place for Maplewood State Park. In 1973, they moved to Aurdal Township and in 1991 moved to Fergus Falls. She was employed by D.B. Rosenblatt Company for 13 years.
She loved having her grandkids over and spending time with them and in later years included her great grandkids. Delaine also enjoyed her years as a server. She was a member of Trintity Lutheran Church in Fergus Falls.
She is survived by her children, Denyce Bigelow of Erhard, MN, Marilyn Lueck of St. Cloud, MN, Kay (Gary) Johnson of Apple Valley, MN, and Carolyn Anderson and Tod (Diane) Neubauer of Fergus Falls; 15 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren along with numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Floyd, two sisters; a brother; a granddaughter and a son-in-law, Alan Lueck.
Visitation: Tuesday, April 21, 2015 from 5-7P.M., with a 6:30 prayer service at the Glende-Nilson Funeral Home in Fergus Falls.
Funeral: 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, April 22, 2015, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Fergus Falls with a visitation one hour prior.
