David Lindemyer

David Lindemyer, 65 of Ashby died Monday, September 20, 2010 at Lake Region Hospital in Fergus Falls , surrounded by his family after a short battle with cancer.





David Charles Lindemyer was born on December 6, 1944 in Alexandria , MN . He was baptized and confirmed in Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Evansville , where he graduated High School in 1962 and then attended Moorhead State University .





David and Donna Wolfer were married on September 3, 1966 in Bismarck , ND . They moved to Minot , where Dave worked as a Loan Officer at a Finance Company.  They then moved to Jamestown , where he worked as the Treasure of First Federal Savings & Loan.  While living in Moorhead , Dave worked as an Accountant at Metropolitan Federal Bank in Fargo , before moving to Ashby , MN in 1986 where he started his businesses


Lindy’s NAPA Auto Parts and Lindy’s Tax Service.  On July 1, 2010 he retired and sold his auto parts business to the Ashby Equity. Dave enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening and loved his dogs.  He was active with the Ashby Community Club and was very proud of Ashby and loved the area.





He is survived by his wife, Donna; son, Jon Lindemyer of Carlos, MN; daughter, Lynelle Lindemyer of Fargo, ND; mother Marie Lindemyer of Evansville; four sisters, Rose (Kevin) Olson of Preist River, ID, Carol (Don) Week and Mary Johnson all of Evansville and Joyce (James) Rylander of Ashby; uncle and aunt, Clair (Ruth) Christensen of Evansville; his beloved dog, Buddy and by numerous, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Dave was preceded in death by his step-father, Carl Lindemyer and by a two year old brother, Arvid Lindemyer.
