Carol Henrickson, 63, of rural Battle Lake died Friday, January 29, 2016, at the Lake Region Hospital in
Fergus Falls, Minnesota.
Carol Lena Henrickson was born on December 6, 1952, in Fargo, North Dakota the daughter of Curtis and Phyllis (Peterson) Jalbert. She was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran Faith. Carol attended Roosevelt Grade School, Ben Franklin Middle School and then the North High School.
Carol and Duane Henrickson were married on December 26, 1971, in Fargo, North Dakota. After their marriage they lived in various locations and in 2013, they moved to their present home by Battle Lake. She enjoyed raising chickens, ducks, turkeys, peacocks and loved deer hunting. Carol enjoyed her time with her family.
She is survived by her husband, Duane; daughter, Shannon Henrickson; son, Wayne Henrickson; sister, Cheryl Heirer of Fargo; two brothers, Curtis and Butch Jalbert both of Fargo; and by relatives and friends. Carol was preceded in death by her parents, Curtis and Phyllis Jalbert; and by one brother, David Jalbert.
