Bernice Rose Schaffran, age 88, went home to our Lord on September 28, 2014.
The daughter of Roy and Katie Freske, Bernice was born on April 28, 1926. On June 14, 1947, she was united in marriage to Tony Schaffran at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Alexandria, MN. They lived in Alexandria until 1955 when they moved to Urbank. They made their home in Urbank until 1971 when they moved to Lake Aaron in Evansville. Bernice lived on Lake Aaron until May 2011, when she moved to Brandon's Assisted Living.
Bernice is survived by her three sons; Will (Betty) of Vancouver, WA; Ernie (Mary) of Brandon, MN; Crosby (Michelle) of Brandon, MN; two brothers; Lee and Bernie; two sisters; Katherine and Vivian; Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Tony and son, Sylvester.
