Ann Mark, 87 of rural Dalton, Minnesota died Wednesday, April 30, 2014 at the Woodland Lodge in Fergus Falls under the care of her family and Lakeland Hospice.

Angela Ruth Mark was born on April 20, 1927 by Wadena, Minnesota the daughter of George and Delores (Mitchell) Conn. She was baptized and confirmed in the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Parkers Prairie and attended the Parkers Prairie Public School.

Ann and Henry Mark were married on July 5, 1946 at her parents' home in Parkers Prairie. After their marriage they lived in Parkers Prairie until 1954, when they moved to their farm north of Dalton. Ann was involved with the family farm and was a homemaker. She enjoyed gardening, baking, bingo, bird watching, cross stitching and quilting but mainly her family, especially the grandchildren and great-grandchildren who knew her as an adventurous Grandma, willing to go on four wheeler rides and doing fun things. She always had the coffee pot on with a freshly baked pie every day and other freshly baked goods for company and her boys. Ann was employed with the Ashby Produce for twenty-two years. She was a member of the Tordenskjold Free Lutheran Church and the Ladies Aid.

She is survived by her husband, Henry; three sons, James (Bonnie) Mark of Fergus Falls, Curt (Donna) Mark of Dalton and John (Kim) Mark of Dalton; eight grandchildren, Amy (John Busko) Mark, Jason (Lindsay) Mark, Molly (Chad) Gronner, Jay (Jesse) Mark, Jill (Nick) Carroll, Joshua Mark, Lindsay (Bill) Milbeck and Chris Mark; ten great-grandchildren, Harlow Ann Mark, Jorja, John and Jax Gronner, Clara Ann and Maggie Mark, Zacary and Maison Carroll and Hazen and Londyn Milbeck; one sister, Duffy (Bill) Schwartz of Rochester; and by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Ann was preceded in death by her parents, George and Delores Conn; step-mother, Alice Conn; step-father, Peter Wagner; brother, Darrell Conn and sister, Della Cherry.

Funeral Service: 2:00 pm, Monday, May 5, 2014 at the Zion-Sarpsborg Free Lutheran Church in Dalton.

Visitation: Sunday from 5 to 7 pm with a Prayer Service at 6:30 pm at the Glende-Nilson Funeral Home in Fergus Falls and one hour prior to the service at the church.

Interment: Tordenskjold Free Lutheran Cemetery, rural Underwood
